2.365 A Letter

Owning the shop, and having a public address, I receive some pretty interesting mail. It tickles me to no end that there are people out there who still believe in snail mail instead of simply emailing me.

I received this letter today.

So, if any of you know about the history of Oakland, of the yarn shops in the area, or this self-published newspaper, get in touch. I am intrigued about this newspaper, Pin Money Ads.

I'm sure the Oakland Public Library would be able to help with this. If they don't have hard copies, they'll have it on microfiche. Ah, remember microfiche? Now I'm dating myself. Next we'll be reminiscing about the smell of the mimeograph... Good luck!!

If only we could ask Doris to see if she ever heard of this newspaper. Good luck and I hope you get some responses.
