In my ear, I hear whispered "tell them", though my mouth doesn't want to move, because saying it out loud means its real, and I don't want it to be real. So, here's hoping to my fingers will do the typing. Because as usual the world is swirling around me, and I have so many things I would really like to tell you about.
The first thing, and the hardest thing for me to talk about, is to tell you that my good friend, Debbie, has developed breast cancer. She is a very good friend, and a good friend to the fiber community, being a Mother of a herd of alpaca. You may have seen her yarn around the shop, Brook Farm Alpacas. Or maybe even you have met her at the shop.
Here's the great thing though - she in insanely courageous and awesome - and is blogging about her experience. I am astounded that she is able to move through this through the power of words. Today is her first day of chemo. I think it is so important to show support in times like this. So, please, go to her blog, and let her know that you are here. I know I am cheering for her - a thousand, trillion times over!
I think I'll go for now - and will be back tomorrow with more things to say.
